Congrats to our newest Entered Apprentice Antoine Childress who was initiated last night, November the 8th. Thanks to Matthews #461 who conferred the degree in our behalf and also initiated one of their own. We had a strong showing with 8 members present plus two current Entered Apprentices and our candidate present.

2018 Code Amendment Vote Results: Amendment 1 – DEFEATED This amendment stops the purchase of new Endowed Memberships and creates a new type of membership, Legacy Membership. Amendment 2 – APPROVED Would allow a lodge to be able to meet on another date due to cancellation of a stated due to hazardous conditions. Amendment 3
Excelsior will be hosting a special guest lecturer, Brother Chris Wilhoit, on February 15th at 7pm. Brother Wilhoit is a respected Masonic speaker in North Carolina and a provider for the, presently under development, North Carolina Grand Lodge Speaker’s Bureau. He is the present Master of Conover Lodge No. 248, a member of Sophia Lodge
Bryant Webster, Grand Master of Masons in North Carolina, visited Excelsior for our January Stated Communication. He delivered a great message to all present on challenges facing the lodge as well as the prospects for a bright future with involvement from all members of our lodge.
